Mosaic sell out The Prescott in Toowong
Renowned South East Queensland developer Mosaic Property Group has sold out its Toowong apartment development, The Prescott, before construction has completed.
The Prescott, on a 2,108 sqm site on Lissner Street on the fringe of Toowong village, comprises 100 apartments across a 14-level building. There were 10 apartments that featured in Mosaic's sought-after Masterpiece Series.
Mosaic partnered with acclaimed design firm DKO, their second collaboration following the rapid sellout of The Mowbray in East Brisbane. The architectural design incorporates cascading and climbing plants on each facade, creating green spines throughout The Prescott.
Prospective residents of The Prescott can anticipate a lifestyle that takes advantage of Brisbane's subtropical climate with rooftop recreation spaces that include a pool, a gym with a yoga lawn, and multiple dining areas with panoramic views of the Brisbane River, Mount Coot-Tha, and the city skyline.
The design of The Prescott draws on local historical references, particularly architectural detailing and craftsmanship, to bring something refreshing and new to Toowong.
Architecture and materiality are timeless, with a strong emphasis on landscaping, including an abundance of cascading and climbing plants. Seven green spines feature across the building, connecting the ground to the rooftop, breathing life into each facade.
A veiled podium references the nearby Regatta Hotel and surrounding masonry apartment context with the inclusion of breeze blocks.
Mosaic's building arm, Mosaic Construction, completed the ground-level concrete slab pour last month, a massive task involving 1320 cubic metres of concrete. Weather permitting, the team aims to complete the forming and pouring of the level two slab by the end of March.
Mosaic has 11 projects under construction in Brisbane and the Gold Coast, the majority of which are sold out. The Prescott is Mosaic's third apartment development in Toowong, following the successful The Patterson by Mosaic and Kensington by Mosaic.
