Lynette Rex, wife of the former Ramsay Health Care chairman Chris Rex, is the latest buyer in Noosa.

The Rex’s, who have recently traded Tamarama for a lock-up-and-leave Bondi apartment, have spent $10 million on the Noosa Sound.

It took just one FaceTime inspection through Tom Offermann agent Tom Offermann, who secured the sale off-market.

Created by architect Peter Hull, the Mossman Court home last traded for $5.1 million in 2017. Through its custom-made timber and glass front door and past the front courtyard, the four bedroom home has three bathrooms, and a home office.

Out the back there’s a deck, which spans to full width of the house and features an alfresco terrace with built in barbecue.

There’s a private white sand beach and 20 metres of waterfrontage. It was offloaded by the Flynn family, who have owned a home down the road since the late 1990s.

When the home was listed last year for $6.55 million, Tom Offermann agent Nic Hunter told prospective clients to “take the plunge, slip on the sandals and get into holiday mode every day,” calling the property a “dream home”.

"While other markets around the country are patchy Noosa, especially prestige waterfront properties on Noosa Sound, continue to deliver steady, sustainable growth with 15.5% average compound annual capital growth over 41 years."
