Following the administration of GCB Constructions, developer GDI Group has decided to bring construction in house to complete their luxury Main Beach apartment development, Drift Residences.

Drift Residences, at 16-18 Hughes Avenue, just a stroll from Tedder Avenue and the Main Beach sand, will have just 46 apartments across its 31 levels, a maximum of two apartments per floor.

Dean Gallagher, GDI Group Director, has assembled a top-tier line-up with a proven track record in the industry to deliver the rest of the building.

"It's a formidable team," Gallagher says.

Construction is already well advanced on Drift, which is expected to be complete toward the end of 2024.

There's three different types of apartments in the Plus Architecture-designed tower. The Residence Collection, which occupy levels three to 23, have three bedrooms, three bathrooms, and 262 sqm of living space, and start from just under $3 million.

The penthouse collection is just a handful of full floor apartments with 531 sqm of living space. They have four bedrooms, four bathrooms, a media room, home office, and four car spaces.

Crowning the building is a two-level penthouse across levels 30 and 31, complete with five bedrooms, five bathrooms, five car garaging, an entertainment room, home office, and a plunge pool and spa.

Resident amenity is located toward the bottom end of the tower. There's a spa and health club with an infinity pool, hot and cold spas, an infrared sauna, and a steam room. The gymnasium features a yoga studio and private massage rooms.

There's also a residents lounge with a BBQ, butler’s pantry, outdoor dining area and powder room, as well as a luxe fireplace.

Kollosche is marketing Drift Residences.
