Sherpa Property Group is fast-tracking plans for its expanded Gold Coast portfolio, filing a development application for its prime Chevron Island site.

Sherpa, who has completed 11 projects on the Gold Coast over the past six years, is seeking to developer a boutique three-level apartment building on the 1,710 sqm, 107 Stanhill Drive site they acquired a few months ago.

They'll be launching the project, just 10 exclusive apartments at the start of 2024, with the goal to start construction Q3 2024 pending approval from the Gold Coast City Council.

The premium north facing, riverfront site will also feature marina berths, a first for Sherpa’s Perspective brand. Being just inside the 6-knot zone, the project is tipped to attract the boating community as it will provide immediate access to the Broadwater and ocean.

Designed by HAL Architects, the development will feature spacious interiors, specifically designed for the downsizer and owner-occupier market. The apartments will all comprise a minimum of three bedrooms plus multi-purpose room with penthouses offering four-bedroom residences.

Sherpa Property Group Founder Christie Leet said the project is one of the best sites on the coast and it's a great addition to the Sherpa brand.

“We believe a boutique project is a perfect fit for Chevron Island with an intimate design that lends itself to sophisticated, yet private, lifestyle," Leet said.

"We think our buyers are those already in the vicinity, particularly downsizers, so we have worked hard to make them as good to live in as a house with a huge emphasis on security.

“Each residence will also have a three to four car lock up garage, plus storage, as this level of amenity has been in strong demand across our recent projects.

“This is a really exciting project for the team and we will be working hard to once again deliver the best floor plans on the Gold Coast, continuing to improve each iteration of our Perspective brand.”

The Chevron Island development follows a successful run by Sherpa Property Group for its most recent Gold Coast projects - Perspective Broadwater at Biggera Waters and Perspective on Albatross at Mermaid Beach.

Sherpa recently launched their luxury Palm Beach apartment development, Perspective Nexus, just off the sand.
