Construction has kicked off at Marella, the first Broadbeach apartment tower by prominent South-East Queensland developers Mosaic Property Group.

Following on from the group’s success with their nearby Mermaid Beach developments Dawn and Bela, strong interest has already been shown in Marella, with the sales so far in line with their previous Gold Coast developments.

In a familiar partnership, Plus Architecture has handled the designs on the tower, which Mosaic only recently took back to the Gold Coast City Council in a bid to increase its height from 29-storeys to 30.

100 apartments are set to be delivered across the sought-after Surf Parade site, a mix of two and three-bedroom apartments and penthouses.

Positioned in the heart of Broadbeach, adjacent to Nikiforides Family Park, Marella’s building envelope is a climate-responsive shell that welcomes the morning sun, fresh breezes, and protected views of the Pacific Ocean and coastline.

Residents will have access to extensive building amenity, including a resort-inspired pool, gym, sauna, steam room, spa, wine room, a resident’s lounge, private dining room, and multiple relaxation spaces that are located throughout the development.

Broadbeach, increasingly growing in popularity among owner-occupiers, is sandwiched between the stretches of Surfers Paradise and Mermaid Beach, with ocean and canal waterways, boardwalks and paths running parallel with four flagged beaches.

The Oasis Shopping Centre sits right in the heart of Broadbeach, with abundant retail and dining options, in addition to a range of boutique shops and restaurants on the expanding Oracle Boulevard.

The nearby Pacific Fair offers over 400 retailers, including luxury brands and a mix of indoor and outdoor shopping and dining options, while next door is The Star Casino entertainment precinct and the Gold Coast Convention and Exhibition Centre.

Marella is Mosaic’s 10th project on the Gold Coast and is aimed at boosting the city’s dwindling stocks of new apartments, which dropped to an all-time low earlier this year.

The remaining two-bed apartments in Marella start from $915,000.
