Melbourne-based developer Beulah International has just confirmed construction will be commencing on their 'Habitus' and 'The Grounds of Kew' developments. While the tightening of financial lending and construction delays have halted projects across Victoria, Beulah International have forged ahead with two of their luxury multi-residential residences following their off-the-plan sales success.

“From the completion and settlement of Hallmark and Gardenhill, to the ground-breaking at Paragon, we have consistently proven that we can deliver no matter the condition of the market. “Our team has great propensity to find the right location for the right market, and on these sites, create truly incredible, architectural and lifestyle-led projects.”

Ironside Construction (Luminary, Morton Park, Piper) has been engaged to build both developments with completion slated for mid-2020. Working off the contemporary designs of DKO Architecture and John Patrick Landscape Architects, Habitus town-homes in South Melbourne will be constructed from a material palette of  brass, steel and glass features, nestled within meticulously landscaped greenery.

The sawtooth roof profile perhaps provides Habitus with its most defining feature - a contemporary design response to its context at the threshold of industry and living.

Interiors of all 27 four-storey town-homes will be modern, with warm timber, natural stone and ribbed glass for added privacy.

The Grounds of Kew meanwhile, has been designed by Fender Katsalidis, with landscape design by Paul Bangay. Located in the heart of Kew, the residences will live up to the postcode's prestigious reputation, with private putting greens (for ground floor properties), gilded hardware, marble benchtops and butler’s pantries – The Ground of Kew encapsulates the glamour of multi-residential living.

“Ironside has a good reputation when it comes to creating spaces that are built for living. They have prudent processes and we align in our company values so it made their appointment to both Habitus and The Grounds of Kew an obvious choice.”
