Penrith Panther Tyrone Peachey ready to build on Glenmore Park parcel
After being knocked out of the finals last week, Penrith Panther Tyrone Peachey can turn his attention to his new house building project.
The promising centre has just settled on a land parcel at Glenmore Park in the Bradley Heights Estate.
He secured a 460 sqm block for $530,000 which will be his home with fiancee Kellie and their eight month old daughter Penelope.
Peachey recently suggested he's a changed man after the birth of his daughter earlier this year and that she's settled him down.
He said he’s been given advice from fellow team mates and young fathers James Tamou, Sam McKendry and Dean Whare.
Construction on the home is expected to commence in two weeks, with the sale coming with approval for a two storey, five bedroom home.
Century21 Community First Merrylands agents Rafi Younes and Fernando Capati sold the parcel set opposite a nature reserve.
It had last traded for $435,000 in 2015.
Peachy began his career at the Sharks before signing for the Panthers in 2014.
He extended his contract at the end of last season to stay at the Panthers until the end of 2019.
Peachey grabbed a controversial late try in the win over the Sea Eagles in the second elimination final. They were knocked out last weekend by the Brisbane Broncos.
