A six bedroom, 40 square, modern home at Currumbin has been sold having $4.5 million hopes.

It was marketed as offering the very best of beachfront living situated on the preferred southern end of Currumbin Beach.

It was set within a very short stroll of the patrolled swimming beach, cafes and boutique shopping, and surfing at The Alley, Currumbin Realty advised.

The 557 sqm block last traded at $2.25 million in 2006.

It has been a holiday rental, with a minimum stay of three nights since its 2015 construction.

Off peak rates fetch $750 a night, while in peak season it fetches up to $1,200 a night.
