The luxury penthouses and sub penthouses in Ode, Double Bay, the high-end apartment development by Top Spring, have officially sold out, and with an average sale price of $20 million across the five residences.

Ode first set the sales record for Double Bay with its $24.9 million penthouse sale last year and since then has consistently achieved strong sales.

The six-storey building, designed by celebrated Sydney architect Luigi Rosselli, is located in the village heart of Double Bay on Cross Street, best known for its restaurants and art galleries.

Construction commenced on the project in July.

Top Spring Australia Managing Director, Sydney Ma, said buyers have been drawn to the Double Bay village lifestyle and Ode’s extraordinary blend of architecture, art and culture.

“Buyers recognise that Ode will become a sculptural landmark in Double Bay and is a defining point in its renaissance, bringing to life the symbiotic relationship between architecture and art,” Ma said.

“They also appreciate the meticulously curated interiors by Alwill that connects with the purchasers’ own sense of style and aesthetic, whether it be the curved wine wall or Rosselli's signature statement fireplace design.’’

He said the final eight apartments, known as The Village Residences, were next to sell.

“The final release within Ode encapsulates the same level of design-thinking and personalisation as the penthouse collection, and connection to the vibrant village atmosphere,” Ma added.

“Ranging in size from 234 sqm to 309 sqm they are effectively the size of a single-level home, with the added security and privacy of apartment living.

“Each of the 15 residences has access to a dedicated on-site concierge who will curate a range of services and experiences including private meal deliveries from Double Bay institution Indigo, which is
expanding into the building.

“The concierge service can also organise drycleaning, parcel collections, or theatre, restaurant and water taxi bookings. At its core is the concept of ‘giving time back’ so residents can enjoy more of the things they most desire to do.’’

Managing Director of 1st City Projects, Brad Caldwell-Eyles, said Ode’s architecture, location and extraordinary attention to detail captivated the attention of well-heeled buyers looking to downsize from
their large harbourside homes.

“Travel plays a large part of the lives of our buyers, so Ode’s ability to deliver the size and comfort of a luxury home with security and a low maintenance ‘lock and go’ home in the heart of the Double Bay village has incredible appeal,” Caldwell-Eyles said.

“Ode’s dedicated concierge service and the inclusion of two outstanding restaurants – Indigo and Carte Café – also plays into the incredible lifestyle experience on offer.”

Prices in The Village Residences collection start from $9.7 million for a three-bedroom residence. Ode’s neighbouring sales gallery is open by appointment and includes Rosselli's signature statement fireplace design, timber and travertine floors, stone benchtops, and premium cabinetry.

Top Spring Australia’s other Sydney projects under construction include Munro House in Elizabeth Bay and The Newlands, a $600 million master planned community in St Leonards.
