Sydney and Melbourne property developer, Time & Place, has been given the green light for its first project on Sydney's Northern Beaches.

They'll be developing in Manly where they've secured approval for a five-level, $100 million development with 24 apartments at 35-43 Belgrave Street.

The two and three-bedroom apartments will sit above ground-floor retail.

Designed by SJB Architects to target local downsizers and rightsizers, the development primarily aims to appeal to residents who have lived in Manly for many years and want to stay in the suburb.

Time & Place Director, and Manly local, Evan Papadopoulos, said they have developed a building that they believe is tailored to optimise all the best things Manly has to offer.

"Future residents will appreciate the proximity to the beach and convenience to the ferry. They likely have grown up in Manly or lived here for many years and appreciate the unique lifestyle that Manly offers, where you can wake up at 6:30, be surfing by 7, then be back home, showered, and in the city by 8:30am."

He said the team is particularly proud of the penthouses which will introduce generous outdoor spaces that offer unparalleled views.

"As a Manly local, I am incredibly proud to bring this exceptional development to the heart of our vibrant neighbourhood. Time & Place is deeply invested in Manly, and we are keen to establish ourselves as an integral part of this tight-knit community.

"This development will not only bolster the local economy but also enrich the lives of residents, enhancing the unique and inspiring lifestyle that makes Manly so special. We are steadfast in our commitment to this amazing part of Sydney and are actively looking for new opportunities in the area."

Time & Place is currently in active conversations with a local favourite retailer to occupy the ground floor retail space.
