Landmark launches The Macquarie Collection to busy Macquarie Park precinct
Developer Landmark has unveiled its newest apartment development, The Macquarie Collection in Macquarie Park, a suburb is undergoing a full transformation led by some of the state's largest developers.
Landmark, who have previously developed the 1300-apartment Lachlan's Line in Macquarie Park, have launched the first building of three buildings at 5 Halifax Street, near the North Ryde Metro Station.
It's the highest density tower of the three by a considerable margin, with 256 apartments across 28 levels. The other two towers are just six levels, with 28 and 16 apartments in each.
AJC Architects designed the buildings to foster a welcoming sense of community where generous communal space across the buildings blends indoor and outdoor life.
On the sunny northeast corner, beautifully landscaped open space is the residents' own ‘urban backyard’, while the rooftops will take in panoramic views which set the scene for weekend barbecue lunches through Sydney’s long summers.
The beauty of the surroundings also extends to the indoors. Residents will come home to a space that’s light-filled and welcoming.
Each apartment has an understated interior palette in soft natural hues and was carefully planned to deliver a generous flow of indoor-outdoor living through large windows and balconies.
The climate-controlled apartments are designed to escape the Macquarie Park buzz, perfectly oriented to draw in breezes, sunlight and views.
Floor-to-ceiling windows frame the streetscape and city views outside, while spacious balconies form natural extensions of the living areas.
Open-plan kitchens and eat-in islands invite people to gather, with timeless finishes blending into the living and dining areas.
Bedrooms, bathrooms and ensuites are elegant and beautifully appointed with robust, high-quality, low-maintenance finishes with abundant essential storage throughout the spaces.
Landmark Group Director of Sales and Acquisitions Mark Meyer says Macquarie Park is a growing location.
"It's a great precinct, a very exciting corridor for growth," Meyer says.
So far there's been a real mix of demographics showing interest in The Macquarie Collection. Even some investors are starting to creep back into the market.
Macquarie Park is undergoing a huge transformation. Recently Urban Property Group launched La Vera, their first project in Macquarie Park, while TOGA also launched Macquarie Rise.

Landmark have an extensive workbook across the whole of Greater Sydney, from Dee Why in the north, to Caringbah in the south, and Blacktown in the west.
Meyer says as long the suburb has the key fundamentals of amenity and transport, then there's no reason to be dedicated to develop in one area.
"We're not working in new suburbs," Meyer says.
"These are established suburbs with all of the infrastructure already in place. It takes out the guess work of whether growth can occur in a suburb or not. As long as there's the fundamentals buyers look for, then growth comes hand in hand."
