Family owned and operated developer Chanine Developments took to Rockdale village for their latest apartment project, The Wave.

The Princes Highway building comprises 35 one, two, and three-bedroom apartments.

The curvilinear design of The Wave pays homage to its water view setting, with the wave-shaped balconies adorned with crackled tiles, mirroring the natural texture and landscape.

Designed by CD Architects, the interiors have been curated to provide a quiet and private cocoon, with the glass-wrapped living spaces flooded with dappled light that filters through privacy screens, inspired by the alfresco crackled tiles and local organic forms.

The apartments at The Wave feature curved balconies that invite outdoor entertaining, providing a platform to showcase bay, village, or harbour views. The stone-topped kitchens feature sleek, flat panel cabinetry, Smeg appliances, and glass splashbacks that reflect the vistas on offer, coupled with a palette combining earthy tones with crisp whites. European oak-style floors, travertine bathroom features, and spacious proportions bathed in natural light complete the apartments interiors.

One of The Wave's most appealing aspects is its prime location, seamlessly connecting the village to the city. Residents can enjoy the vibrant lifestyle of Rockdale's buzzing retail and café scene with just a leisurely stroll, while a short drive or bus trip opens up a world of culinary delights in the restaurants and wine bars along the shores of Brighton-Le-Sands.

For outdoor enthusiasts, Rockdale Bicentennial Park offers bike paths winding through its lush greenery, while Kogarah Golf Club and beaches are also just minutes away.

The convenience of transportation is unparalleled, with the train station only a five-minute walk away, with a 25-minute ride transporting residents into the city centre. Sydney Airport is just a 10-minute drive.
