National developer Goldfields has appointed&nbsp;ULTRA Building Co to construct its Chatswood apartment development, <a href="https://www.urban.com.au/new-apartments/the-bryson-of-chatswood-871-877-pacific-highway-chatswood">The Bryson</a>.

CEO of <a href="https://www.urban.com.au/developers/goldfields-group">Goldfields</a>, Lachlan Thompson, said ULTRA Building Co has been appointed to build the&nbsp;luxury residential and mixed-use building&nbsp;and will play a leading role in meeting growing demand for premium apartments, retail and office space in <a href="https://www.urban.com.au/developments/chatswood-nsw-2067">Chatswood</a>.

“We have been impressed by ULTRA Building Co and the quality of their work, most recently completing the Balmoral Collection (Mosman), 1788 Double Bay (Double Bay) and Akoya (North Sydney),” Thompson said.

“The ULTRA team has extensive experience across the residential and commercial sectors. We have been working collaboratively with the project team to ensure this project gets off the ground without compromise. The 500-metre stretch of street facing Northcliffe Beach has been home to small, original walk-up blocks, many of which contain only a few apartments and date back to the 1960s.

Following the pandemic-fueled boom on the Gold Coast, land on Garfield Terrace has become a highly coveted commodity, with long-term unit owners seeing the value of their seven-decade-old apartments soar due to their prime location.

Sydney-based developer <a href="https://www.urban.com.au/developers/iris-capital">Iris Capital</a>, the developer behind the billion-dollar Victoria &amp; Albert in Broadbeach, was determined not to miss the opportunity to be part of the area's transformation.

In 2021, they acquired The Premiere, a block of just six apartments within an eight-level building built in the late 1980s. The true value of the site lay in its 865 sqm footprint, boasting 20 meters of beach frontage.

Iris, headed by billionaire property developer and hotel mogul Sam Arnaout, waited patiently before unveiling their plans, ensuring they were offering the very best development on the coveted beachfront strip.

First home buyers would save $29,500 when purchasing a new build at the median price in Brisbane east, while in Logan-Beaudesert, they would have keep $6960 in their pocket.&nbsp;

Premier David Crisafulli said every Queenslander should have a place to call home.&nbsp;&nbsp;

“We are unlocking more homes for more Queenslanders, more quickly,” Premier Crisafulli said.&nbsp;&nbsp;

“For far too long, stalling housing approvals and skyrocketing housing prices have shut the door on Queenslanders walking into their own home.&nbsp;
