Residents are expected to move into Darlinghurst's much-anticipated East Sydney Collection development near Hyde Park.

Developed by HIGA and built by their in-house construction team, East Sydney Collection is a design collaboration between architecture studio MHNDU and interior designers lawless&meyerson, comprising 27 homes with access to a panoramic rooftop and two ground floor commercial spaces.

The Art Deco facade of the building draws inspiration from various eras, blending nostalgic silhouettes with a less assuming architectural modernity through a sensitive restoration approach. The intentionally restrained exterior aesthetic provides respite from the bustling public realm outside.

East Sydney Collection comprises three residential models – East Sydney Residences, Stanley Lane Lofts, and Hyde Park Terraces. All three embrace sophisticated design and amenities, featuring premium floor finishes, V-Zug kitchen appliances, individual air-con units, and dedicated storage in the basement.

Marble, oak, and straight-planked timber floors in greyed-off European Oak characterise the one, two, and three-bedroom apartments in East Sydney Residences.

Silver-grey slab marble creates luxurious kitchens and bathrooms, while high-quality pure wool loop pile carpets in the bedrooms add a warm and soft touch to the bedrooms.

Stanley Lane Lofts sports a classic black, grey and white palette for a timeless and established look.

Hard-wearing laminated polymer benchtops in tonal grey cement introduce a raw beauty to the kitchens, while high-performance, durable terrazzo floors add subtle interest and texture to the underlying neutral canvas.

In the bedrooms, loft residents will find plush, meticulously crafted pure wool carpets in sophisticated charcoal tones underfoot.

The loft design uses the double-height spaces within the existing saw-tooth warehouse roof to create mezzanine areas and high-ceiling living spaces punctuated by classic steel-framed windows that draw in abundant light and air.

Lastly, the premium offering of Hyde Park Terraces includes three stately, three-bedroom homes – The Walker, The Sandringham, and The Frazer. These homes seamlessly blend classic heritage and contemporary design, featuring herringbone parquetry floors in grey European Oak.

The interiors, designed for simplicity, incorporate beautiful marble finishes, soft sage palettes, and quality detailing.

A marble island with a built-in banquette creates a large dining table that seems to flow onto spacious living and courtyard spaces.

Thoughtful planning sees two living spaces at either end of each terrace home. This makes the most of natural light and allows real versatility in using these rooms.

Additionally, all residents have exclusive access to the expansive rooftop garden offering immediate views of Hyde Park, St Mary’s Cathedral and the CBD skyline.

East Sydney Collection is only 300 metres from Hyde Park and five minutes from the CBD.
