Coronation Property's The Foundry short-listed for National Architecture Award
Prominent Sydney developer Coronation Property has been short-listed in the Australian Institute of Architects' National Architecture Awards for their Liverpool-based development, The Foundry.
Nominated in the Multiple Housing category, The Foundry forms part of their award-winning The Paper Mill precinct.
Comprising 200 apartments, including high-rise residences and ground floor laneway apartments, the SJB designed development is fused with generous ground-level landscaping sitting beneath a light-filled central atrium that stretches 17-storeys through its core.
Maximising its frontage onto the Georges River, the tower opens up to a 1,200 sqm resort-style rooftop terrace featuring a private pool and landscaped gardens, providing residents with opportunities to connect with neighbours and enjoy river and district views.
The building's facade blends contemporary elements with a nod to the precinct’s rich history. Constructed using a combination of brick and precast concrete, SJB’s design pays homage to the nearby heritage-listed brick structure that Coronation transformed into Paper Mill Food, a vibrant central dining hub enjoyed by residents and the wider Liverpool community.
The ready-to-move-in apartments at The Foundry feature entertainer’s balconies, engineered floors, double-sized bedrooms, premium joinery, spacious built-in robes, internal laundries, and quality European appliances.
All of the two and three-bedroom apartments have now been sold, with spacious one-bedroom plus study floor plans remaining.
Ideal for first home buyers, investors or young families, these oversized one-bed-plus multi-purpose room apartments, including car space, are priced from $497,000.
