Central Element and joint venture partner Develotek are set to launch their luxury Drummoyne waterfront project Bianca Drummoyne, after receiving the green light form the Inner West Council.

It's the second sign off for a luxury development in Sydney's inner west in a matter of weeks, following the approval of Made Property's waterfront Corsa Mortlake.

Bianca Drummoyne will comprise just 12 three and four-bedroom apartments at 2C–2D Wolseley Street, an elevated position on the northern edge of Drummoyne's peninsula overlooking the water.

The project will consist of two components. The first, on Wolseley Street set along the ridge, boasts expansive views of the harbour the city skyline. Along the foreshore, the second element is north-facing, connecting with the harbour’s edge.

Bianca's penthouse, which will be released at a later date, will benefit from both panoramic water and city views.

Apartments start from 120 sqm and get as large of 290 sqm. They have direct lift access from the carpark, where there's double garaging and storage rooms for each apartment. They will each feature an expansive outdoor entertaining area and an individual wine cellars.

The resident amenity will be down on the water, where there will be gardens, open lawns, and an outdoor swimming pool.

SJB, who have worked with Central Element on a number of their developments such as Ethos in Chatswood and Pieza in Neutral Bay, have designed Bianca, with the main focus to frame the waterfront views.

SJB Principal Adam Haddow said with Bianca, they endeavour to create a home completely connected to its location.

"The architecture is in response to the site’s unique topography, with individual rooms and openings adjusted to ensure that views and privacy are maximised," Haddow said.

"Each home features spaces that immerse you in the incredible location, with generous open plan living and dining areas flowing out to oversized balconies allowing residents to see the water, feel the breeze, soak in the sun, and enjoy waterfront living at its finest.”

Central Element has a multi-billion dollar portfolio of residential and lifestyle precincts, having delivered over 500 apartments across Sydney metropolitan locations.

Nathan Chivas, Managing Director of Central Element, said Bianca will further elevate their position as a key player in delivering this level of product to Sydney.

"This rare opportunity reflects our vision of seeking out exceptional sites in premium suburbs to build luxurious living spaces of the highest quality.

"Our position as force in the luxury residential market was further bolstered with the DA approval on the world-class mixed-use landmark Hyde Park site earlier in the month.

"Offering the epitome of premium waterfront living, unparalleled views, and the convenience of a six-kilometre drive or 18-minute ferry to the city, we are expecting record sales as Bianca launches to market.”

Develotek Director John Fernandes says Wolseley Street will witness the first and potentially the last major development in a generation.

"From the outset, our mission was to discover the perfect partner to collaborate with and bring an unprecedented level of luxury to this highly coveted location.

"Pressing ahead with Bianca in conjunction with Central Element is the first milestone of a conscious effort and push by Develotek to enter the high-end Inner West market which we see as chronically undersupplied, and we look forward to delivering a new benchmark to Drummoyne over the coming years.”

McGrath's Tracey Dixon and Rob Alfeldi are marketing the project. Building is expected to commence early 2024.
