Sydney-based developer Billbergia completed its landmark mixed-tenure development, Lidcombe Rise.

Lidcombe Rise features 220 one, two, and three-bedroom market apartments, 63 social housing apartments and 93 affordable housing apartments, delivered in partnership with Evolve Housing and Homes NSW.

Amit Julka, Director at Plus Architecture, emphasised the project’s foundational design principles of placemaking, community building, and “equity of amenity” across all residential types.

Lidcombe Rise consists of four buildings, which include not only residential apartments but also a childcare centre and neighbourhood retail tenancies.

The design also incorporates expansive gardens and numerous rooftop terraces, integrating green spaces seamlessly into the buildings.

The curved architectural forms further add an organic aesthetic to the exterior.

Convenience is another major feature of Lidcombe Rise, situated near Lidcombe station, offering quick and easy access to Sydney, Parramatta, and Sydney Olympic Park.

The development's location within a vibrant entertainment and education hub further enhances its appeal to a diverse range of residents, including first-home buyers, families, and empty nesters.
