The historic rural landmark Bishopthorpe Manor, near Goulburn, has sold for just over $3 million.

The home of Marshall Baxter, of Baxter’s Boots fame, was the 1870s home of the first Anglican Bishop of the Diocese of Goulburn.

It last traded ten years ago when liquidators sold the home for $2.3 million.

The seven bedroom home has been extensively renovated.

First National Goulburn agent Barry McEntee sold the home.
