Kieran Foran lists Freshwater home
The drama in NRL Bulldogs recruit Kieran Foran's off-field life has returned to the public arena following the listing of his Freshwater house for October auction.
It was the home that Foran bought early last year - where his former partner Rebecca Pope and the couple's two children resided during his playing stint in New Zealand.
After the for sale sign board went up, an upset Pope told the local paper, The Manly Daily that she'd viewed it as her "forever"home.
"I wanted to stay here forever," she said this week.
“It was our dream home with a big block, ideal for our children and two dogs."
A legal battle over the likely $2.8 plus auction proceeds has quietly begun, with Pope's lawyers lodging a caveat on the home which is officially just in Foran's name.
The legal paperwork suggested she made "direct and indirect financial and non-financial contributions to the acquisition, conservation and maintenance of the lands."
Foran paid $2.51 million in early 2016.
By the time the home had settled and the family moved in, their relationship was over with their private life being aired in public.
Pope moved in with young children Jordan and Emmy and went about renovating the family home, around the time Foran was stood down indefinitely by the Parramatta Eels for personal issues.
The story, which raged early last year, fell off the radar when Foran moved to the New Zealand Warriors, where he had a mixed season in the 17 games he played.
While the heat is now back on the championship half-back to settle the fresh turmoil, a new budding romance has been making the headlines over the past week.
His Instagram features his new relationship with 48 year old former Central Coast hairdresser, fitness instructor Karina May, a mother of six.
The long-time Manly Sea Eagle, who left the Warriors to return to Sydney because he wanted to be closer to his kids, has not commented on his plans after the auction.
It now has modern updates, with renovated living and dining spaces, as well as a brand new kitchen, installed by Pope.
The full brick home has five bedrooms, three bathrooms, a home office and a 15 metre swimming pool.
Ray White Freshwater agents Graham Bennett and Bernard Hachenberg have set an October 28 auction.
