Jinding Developments have recently celebrated the groundbreaking of their brand-new multi-residential community Harriott Armstrong Creek. Situated just 10 kilometers from the heart of Geelong’s thriving city and 16 kilometers from the coast of Torquay, this development will be home to 659 residences with an extensive list of on-site amenities. The development has been brought to fruition via a partnership with Jinding Developments, Yolk Property Group and landowners of the Armstrong Creek site, the Harkness Family.

The adjoining 500-hectare Sparrovale Wetland has also recently commenced work on a $4 million upgrade, facilitated by the City of Greater Geelong. This reserve borders the northern side of Harriott Armstrong Creek, and is filled with an abundance of native fauna and flora for future residents to enjoy.

Other amenities within the precinct include 140-hectares of open public space, a village shopping centre, an Armstrong Creek education precinct, and regional sporting facilities.

Liz Ronson, Managing Director of Jinding Developments, noted the overwhelming success and enthusiasm for the exciting next phase in the development process.

“We have continued to achieve great success and strong sales for Harriott in 2020. The appetite from the local community so far is a testament to the compelling urban design of Harriott, along with the fantastic amenity and natural environment which surround the development.”

Landowners, the Harkness Family, also commended Jinding Developments and Yolk Property Group for their collaborative efforts to ensure the legacy of Harriott Armstrong Creek.

“The Harkness family are excited for this new chapter, which will see our land become home to many new families over the coming years. We've worked closely with Jinding and Yolk to ensure that the Harriott development will provide a legacy we can all be proud of.”

Construction on the first 81 blocks have begun and the precinct is estimated to reach completion by mid-2021.
