Brantwood, built in 1919 for the then minister of the Gladesville Presbyterian Church, has been listed with $1.8 million hopes for its December 11 Ray White auction.

The home with a strong Victorian and Edwardian influence was restored to its former glory in the early 1990s.

The home at 17 Pittwater Road was then extended and renovated again by the current owners, who paid $490,000 in 1998.

The double brick, single level character home on 604 square metre has two bedrooms and two renovated bathrooms.

There's a traditional open from verandah with a sandstone wall and a formal lounge at the front of the home, with headlight stained glass bay windows and fireplace.

A large rear family room flows to the rear gardens.
