Bespoke furniture maker Mark Tuckey and wife Louella have listed their luxury northern beaches home.

The waterfront home on the sands of Clareville Beach is locally know as the Home and Away house, with the garden used as one of the sets for a while.

Tuckey has owned the residence, with classic Pittwater P & O style rounded, for nearly a decade. He paid $3.1 million in 2009.

Set on 900 sqm, the classic beach home with three bedrooms and two bathrooms features floor to ceiling glass, taking in views across Pittwater to Lion Island.

A master retreat on its own level also has water views, while a heated swimming pool sits in the lush tropical gardens.

The home is filled with furniture and designer art, from works by David Bromley to furniture from Borg Morgensen.

A week before the birth of their child Chilli, Bromley painted a rabbit and butterfly in the bedroom as a gift. The couple have another child, Indigo, and two dogs Scribble and Lillypup.

Belle Property Avalon agent Mark Griffin is marketing the home.

Tuckey started his furniture business Ancient Modes in Melbourne in 1990 with a couple of hundred dollars and a blue F-100 truck.
