Leighton Farm, the former Tilba Tilba farm of Men at Work singer-songwriter Colin Hay has hit the market with $2.95 million hopes.

The near 19 hectare South Coast rural property at 114 Youngs Road has direct beach access to Akolele Beach.

John Murray at Whale Coast Realty suggests it would suit cattle or horses. He is marketing the property in conjunction with David Nolan at Webster Nolan.

On the parcel is a two bedroom main residence with ocean, mountain and countryside views.

It was designed to take in the views from the living area, with extensive use of floor to ceiling windows and sliding doors.

There's an enclosed veggie garden, chook yard and orchard, as well as a steel machinery shed and protected paddocks.
