A prestigious riverfront Bulimba home in Brisbane has sold.

Located at Quay Street, the Lungo Il Fiume sits on a 872 square metre block.

It went up earlier this month on websites as having sold, having been offered for June auction when it was passed in.

It is understood to have been bought by the Maccheron medical family.

The six-bedroom, five-bathroom home attracted four bidders seeking the waterfront offering, with bidding starting at the $4 million mark.

With superior design and functionality, the 2006-built home that spans three levels may have fetched more than $5 million.

There is a sixth bedroom on the ground floor that has its own bathroom.

The property has state of the art appointments and sophisticated finishes.

The gourmet kitchen boasts a butler’s pantry, extensive array of European stainless steel inclusions, large banks of cupboard storage and dedicated wine fridge and wet bar area.

The vast internal living areas promote seamless indoor/outdoor living via banks of glass sliders.

Designed to maximise the views, the flowing entertainer's deck features an outdoor bar and BBQ.

There is a sparkling glass framed swimming pool with a 20 metre lap section which extends out towards the lush green grass and sandy river bank.

A private jetty and second swing mooring for close access to the bay and a sprawling six car basement garage with impressive storage capabilities are also included.

The property was offered by Place agents Sarah and Damian Hackett.
