Victorian horse racing owner/breeder Peter Carrick and wife Trish have listed their award winning Noosa riverfront home through Adrian Reed at Dowling & Neylan Real Estate.

The contemporary house by award-winning designer Chris Clout cost them $3.45 million in 2010.

They bought it from Chris's parents Peter and Janet Clout, who had paid $345,000 for the 779 sqm waterfront parcel before commissioning their son to design the home.

The only request the parents had was that it had four bedrooms with a relaxing holiday vibe.

Designed to have an Asian resort presence, the home features an indoor pebbled garden, bamboos and tropical gardens.
