The former Liberal politician John Hewson sold his redundant Guerilla Bay beachfront, Camp David, after nearly six years on the market to the local boat builder, Eric Simes.

Initially listed for $2 million in August 2010, Hewson accepted $1.7 million, having paid $2 million for the home in 2007.

He bought the home on 4100 sq m from American architect Gerry Green who installed cathedral ceilings.

It sits at the end of a little lane fronting onto Guerilla Bay Beach. Eric Simes and wife Wendy recently sold their 30 hectare lakeside Coila, Eurobodalla holding for $1.7 million.
