There are $13 million hopes for the latest offering on Avalon Beach.

It is a five bedroom pavilion style home on an absolute beachfront with a 1,821sqm block.

Set under Norfolk Pines, the Marine Parade home last sold at $9.24 million in 2015.

It has been listed by the former SurfStitch founder Justin Cameron ands his wife Courtney who bought it from Greg Martyr, who sits on the board of advanced 3D manufacturer WarpForge.

It holds the beachside record, with two sales above $7 million in the meantime.

Avalon Beach, where there is a $1.7 median house price, has 57 properties for sale.

Based on five years of sales, Avalon Beach has seen a compound growth rate of 7.2 percent for houses, according to realestate.com.au.

The northern beaches was the weekend's best selling locality with a 94 percent success rate from its 55 results.
