Aqualand has recently celebrated the structural completion of its iconic $420m North Sydney development, Blue at Lavender Bay. This monumental tree-topping* event was attended by Managing Director of Aqualand, Jin Lin, Aqualand CEO, John Carfi, and Mayor of North Sydney Council, Jilly Gibson, alongside the wider team.
With 75% of the current collection sold due to high-demand, Aqualand is primed to release additional residences in the following year. As a luxury development, recent sales include a $6.95m, 3 bedroom apartment, a $1.9m 2 bedroom apartment, and a $1.35m 1 bedroom apartment.
The success of Blue by Lavender Bay has also propelled the launch of Aqualand’s newest project at 168 Walker Street, North Sydney, scheduled for launch in July 2021, this collection will feature approximately 400 residences, as well as a vibrant new retail precinct. A second development, situated in one of Sydney’s best locations, Belmont St, Alexandria, will see another 20 additional boutique-style apartments by the end of 2021.
The suburb of North Sydney holds a significant portion of Aqualand’s assets in addition to Blue by Lavender Bay and Walker Street, including commercial towers in Blue Street, and numerous buildings in Arthur Street.
Head of Aqualand’s Sales and Marketing, Alex Adams, noted the growing demand for housing in Northern Sydney suburbs and Aqualand involvement in future constructions.
“Market activity and buyer interest has been increasing of late as purchasers see construction well on the way to completion.”
