Greenway tops list of Canberra unit hotspots

Greenway takes the equal top spot as Canberra's 2016/2017 hotspot for investing in units in a new list developed by APM senior economist, Dr Andrew Wilson.

The median price at Greenway is currently at $385,000 with an expected increase of 4% over the next 12 months, according to APM.

A two bedroom unit at 17/1 Drew Street (above) recently sold for $410,000 – is $25,000 above the median price – perhaps indicating the suburb is already drawing the attention of investors. 

The Smart Investor magazine, published by Fairfax Media, ranked Page and Macquarie as the joint strongest unit hotspots in Canberra.
