1960s Campbell, ACT house sold for $1.41 million

A 1960s architecturally designed home in Campbell, ACT has been sold at $1.41 million.

It was offered to the market for the first time by Louise Harget and Dan McAlpine from Belle Property Kingston. 

Positioned on a 956 square metre block, the split-level house at 64 Gellibrand Street comprises four bedrooms, two bathrooms, a sunken lounge, a retro kitchen and a sun room with a gas fireplace.

There is a self-contained garden apartment on the lower level.

The original features of the house include Cedar doors with mottled glass, timber panelling, hand crafted cabinetry and high ceilings.

Other highlights include old established gardens, hardwood flooring and private elevated terrace at the back of the home. 

It is close to the City Centre, Russell Offices, Canberra Airport, local shops and both Campbell Primary and High Schools.
