Michelle Bridges whispered to have bought in Southern Highlands

The fitness trainer Michelle Bridges has reputedly spent $2.7 million on Summerside, a five-bedroom homestead in Kangaloon which sold last week.

Chef Luke Mangan was among the other reported interested parties.

There had been a $2.4 million to $2.5 million price guidance.

The property has district views. The grounds include a tennis court with pavilion, a solar-heated swimming pool, guest barn, art studio, plus purpose-built vegetable gardens.

The house is set in landscaped gardens by Michael Bligh with dam.

It was sold by the investment banker Gary Bailey who bought the property in 2004 for $1.14 million.
