2GB Radio broadcaster Ben Fordham and his construction manager mate, Steve Fadel pulled their small-scale development in Redfern from its weekend scheduled auction.

They're now seeking a tenant at $1,800 a week.

The Turner Street property might get re-listed for auction when the auction season returns in February.

The almost identical home at 19b sold pre-construction 18 months ago for $2.65 million, with the now complete 19a having $2.4 million price guidance through the BresicWhitney agent Charles Touma.

The three bedroom property features an industrial warehouse aesthetic including a front door fashioned from a decommissioned Sydney Ferry.

Fadel and Fordham’s business relationship formed when they were next-door neighbours.
