Tavistock House in the Melbourne CBD sells for $7.9 million

Melbourne's Tavistock House in the middle of the CBD has been sold at auction for $7.9 million.

The iconic triple-storey corner freehold building at 383-387 Flinders Lane comprises a 442 sqm land parcel and over 42 metre triple street frontage.

It's surrounded by major corporate headquarters, Melbourne’s finest restaurants, luxury retail, high end hotels and entertainment as well as all forms of public transport.

It was offered with up to 12 months settlement and has traded for the first time in over two decades. It last sold for $600,000 in 1993.

It comes part leased to established tenants.

Colliers International handled the sale with Cooley Auctions handling the onsite auction.
