A 163 room hotel development at 65-79 Sussex Street, Sydney is the next mooted Quest offering.

The proposed development has been designed by Fitzpatrick and Partners.

It is close to the Bristol Arms Hotel at 81 Sussex Street.

Garry McDonald, senior heritage consultant at Graham Brooks and Associates, noted the adjacent building 81 Sussex Street contains an 1898 Federation Free Classical Hotel.

The approval is sought for construction of an eight storey development for hotel accommodation comprising 163 rooms, including; hotel lobby, restaurant, retail and licensed bar at level 1; conference centre, function room, and gymnasium costing $36 million by Alfasi Property Development.
