The 236 Church Street property is in the core of Parramatta’s busy retail precinct between Macquarie Street and George Street.

It was advertised for auction on November 30.

Its land area is 238 sqm with a total building area of 458 sqm.

The zoning is B4 mixed use and the land could be redeveloped subject to council approval.

Neighbouring retailers include the likes of JB HIFI, Jamie Oliver’s Italian, 7 Eleven, ALDI, Chemist Warehouse, University of New England, Peter Wynn’s and all the major banks.

The selling agent was Jon Race of Khoury & Partners.

The property previously sold for $1.18 million in 2001, CoreLogic RP Data shows.
