New home at Broadbeach Waters tops RP Data top 10 sales

The most expensive auction in Queensland last week was a newly completed four-bedroom home in Broadbeach Waters, which fetched $1.55 million.

Located at 14 Eady Avenue, the 45-square-metre home boasts four bathrooms and a waterside pool and spa.

It sold last week through Nick Jamieson at Dytor and Yates Broadbeach Waters.

The owners bought the property in early 2012 for $870,000 when it contained a home with serious structural issues.

Due to one part of the house sinking, the original home was knocked over and the current one was built.

The property had previously sold in 2008 for $1.42 million, before the GFC hit.

The median house price in Broadbeach Waters is $669,500, according to RP Data.

The top 10 auctions for the week, preceed the big auctions of the weekend where prices of up to $9.8 million were achieved on the Gold Coast.
