Queensland's Gladstone has the cheapest property rentals of the country.

CoreLogic calculated Barney Point has the cheapest house median rental and South Gladstone has the cheapest when it comes to units.

There is a three bedroom Barney Point cottage at 8 Callide Crescent available at $170 a week (above).

Blackall, Clinton, Calliope and West Gladstone are also on the national top 10 list for 2017.
