An 1867-built Georgian home in South Melbourne and a redesigned warehouse in Annandale will go under the hammer this weekend.

Only moments from Albert Park Lake, 40 Howe Crescent, South Melbourne (pictured below) has three bedrooms and a studio apartment with a private entrance.

The property is situated in a premier location and has a luxurious kitchen that is flooded with natural light and has ample space for entertaining.

Meanwhile, 15 Nelson Street, Annandale (pictured below) will not appeal to everyone but for those who love warehouse conversions it could be a highly prized asset.

After it was sold in 2009 for $981,000, it was renovated, and agent Dominic Kuneman from Bresic Whitney has indicated it will sell for more than $1.1 million this time around.

There's now a website, www.propertytycoon.com.au, where punters can guess five auction results in Melbourne and Sydney, with no outlay. It's mostly about testing your market knowledge with a small cash prize as a sweetener.
