Renovated beachside haven: Sydney auction tipping

A four-bedroom home in Curl Curl that has been thoroughly renovated will test the beachside market this weekend.

For those who want to have a harmless punt, there's now a tipping website, www.propertytycoon.com.au, where punters can guess auction five results in Melbourne and Sydney, with no outlay. It's mostly about testing your market knowledge with a small cash prize as a sweetener.

Mike Dunn from McGrath Real Estate will looking for bidding in excess of $1.6 million when he auctions 8 Stirgess Avenue, Curl Curl, one of five Sydney properties going to auction this week in round 10 of the competition. The two-storey, four-bedroom and three-bathroom family home has been renovated from head to toe since it was purchased for $835,000 in 2002.

It’s a contemporary beachside haven, and the new owners’ hardest decision will be to decide between lazing by the pool or wandering down to the beach to catch a few waves.

If you think you know what it will sell for place a tip at Property Tycoon.
