Piccolo’s Upper House apartment complex has secured the sale of 70% of the 110 apartments only 10 weeks after marketing began.

“This is a project that inspires confidence and buyers have responded to the quality offering without delay,” says Tim Storey, Colliers International managing director of residential.

The Piccolo Development group initially reported in late October that it had secured the sale of half of the 110 apartments.

Piccolo Development has engaged Hamilton Marino Builders to construct the complex from early 2013.

The Upper House façade was designed by Jackson Clements Burrows Architects.

“Piccolo are dedicated to creating landmark properties that are timeless, unique and inspiring,” says Piccolo Development director Michael Piccolo.

Upper House is located at 516-520 Swanston Street, Carlton, and comprises two distinctive components, The Cloud and The Podium.

The Cloud apartments float above The Podium apartments.

The Podium offers 60 one-bedroom apartments and 30 two-bedroom apartments.

Apartments in The Podium start from $380,000.

The Cloud offers 20 two-bedroom apartments starting from $700,000.

Due for completion in 2014, Upper House apartments are being sold by Melissa Hall from Colliers International.
