Melbourne unit rental price up, house rentals down: REIV

Median house rentals in metropolitan Melbourne increased $10 a week to $410 with regional housing rent decreasing 4.9 percent to $290, to December 2015, according to the REIV.

The REIV's rental market snapshot to December 2015 found the level of vacant properties in metropolitan  Melbourne at 3.1 percent, staying at 2.3 percent for regional Victoria.
