The luxury beachfront house on Eastbourne Avenue in Clovelly sold for $6 million yesterday. 

The four-bedroom, two-bathroom house sold through Phillips Pantzer Donnelley estate agents, Alexander Phillips and David Tyrrell.

The two-storey home has a wide frontage that opens out to unobstructed ocean and coastal views. The home also has a north facing landscaped garden. 

All the bedrooms have custom built-ins, while the master suite has a skylit dressing room with its own private terrace.

Built in 1925, the property has been redesigned to display a contemporary beach aesthetic.

The house features a lounging area that opens out to a covered terrace, Wide Oak floorboards, an Escrea fireplace, a Carrara marble island in the kitchen, and marble bathrooms. 

The 259 sqm property was last sold in 2014 for $2.5 million, and $2.3 million in 2007.
