Developer Greenland has named its mixed-use development in Sydney's Macquarie Park, ‘nbh at Lachlan’s Line’.

The one-and-a-half hectare site comprises the first two lots to be developed within UrbanGrowth NSW’s nine hectare Lachlan’s Line precinct.

According to Greenland, ‘nbh at Lachlan’s Line’ is an abbreviation of ‘neighbourhood’ and speaks directly to Greenland’s key target audience for the project, Macquarie Park’s growing millennial market.

nbh will comprise almost 900 apartments across six buildings ranging in height from two to 17 storeys, and 6,200 sqm of ground floor retail.

Greenland Australia managing director Sherwood Luo said the contemporary abbreviated name was chosen for its youthful energy.

“Our project is set to appeal to young, savvy first home buyers and investors of the millennial generation due to its sophisticated urban lifestyle offering, extensive shopping and amenity, excellent transport links and its proximity to some of the country’s largest universities and employers,” Luo said.

Designed by acclaimed local architects Bates Smart, nbh will have rooftop courtyard gardens connecting apartments.

“Greenland, in conjunction with our architects Bates Smart, has looked at some of the best examples around the world of vibrant, mixed-use urban villages,” Luo said.

Greenland expects to launch the first stage of nbh at Lachlan’s Line in June 2016.

nbh will have a supermarket, health club and medical centre as well as a cafes and restaurants.

The development is well connected by train with Sydney CBD, North Sydney and Parramatta.
