Frank Lloyd Wright-inspired Sugarloaf homes set for Belrose

Sugarloaf is the latest development to land in Sydney’s northern suburb Belrose, with 17 four-bedroom homes, architecturally inspired by Frank Lloyd Wright.

Located on Ralston Avenue and developed by Bazem Pty Ltd, homes range in price from $1.195 million to $1.45 million.

Designed by Marchese Partners, the homes feature decorative stonework, exposed timbers, sculptured roofs, blade walls and geometric lines.

“Sugarloaf raises architectural standards in this suburb,” says Michael Van den Blink, sales manager of Sugarloaf.

Belrose is a family-orientated area which is experiencing migration from other Sydney suburbs due to its proximity to beaches, its affordability and the established attractions,” says Van den Blink.

Homes feature interiors by Dallas Design and range in size from 260 square metres to 340 square metres.

The properties include balconies and rear courtyards with landscaping by Melbourne landscaper Paul Hamilton.

“Our Sugarloaf homes will suit a diverse range of residents, from young growing families through to downsizers.

“They have cutting edge design and functional floor plans that maximise the amount of useable space, storage options and views,” says Van den Blink.

Van den Blink says Belrose and surrounding suburbs are set to boom.

Belrose has the leafy attributes of Roseville, Lindfield and Pymble, yet it is much closer to Sydney’s finest beaches which is a major attraction for families, and housing is around half the price of the North Shore.

“But there are signs that Belrose and the surrounding suburbs are about to boom, fueled by the Government’s recent commitment to the new Northern Beaches hospital at nearby Frenchs Forest,” says Van den Blink.

The first two homes will be open for inspection on September 17.

The median house price in Belrose is $878,000 a 10.4% change in the past five years, according to RP Data.
