Decorator Frank Grill's Redfern terrace sold
The late decorator Frank Grill's Redfern city home has been sold.
The Kepos Street terrace, bought in 1995 for $455,000, sold through Jane Schumann and Gary Sands of Di Jones Real Estate who had $1.7 million price hopes.
Grill's last ongoing project was the Point Piper home for Paul Lederer, chairman of the Western Sydney Wanderers, and his wife Eve. Lyne Jervis has held the decor business together since his unexpected death in his sleep in September.
His most famous commission was Lady Mary Fairfax's Pierre penthouse in New York in the late 1980s.
His former Circular Quay apartment featured in the international magazine, Architectural Digest.
