International developer Zone Q Investments has awarded Sydney builder Ceerose a contract to build the $155 million boutique project Aqualuna Residences in Milsons Point.

The 63 apartment building designed by Koichi Takada is expected to be completed in the first quarter of 2020. Demolition has begun and main work is expected to commence later this month.

85 percent of residences have been sold already.

Zone Q Investments Andrew Wilkinson says they are looking forward to working with Ceerose.

"We know owners will appreciate the superior craftmanship of the development.”

Ceerose managing director Edward Doueihi said they are delighted to be appointed to build the "iconic and timeless structure."

“The Ceerose name has become synonymous with constructing luxurious residential buildings that enhance the environment, provide desirable living and create communities.

"Many Ceerose projects have won national and international awards, Aqualuna is expected to secure several high-profile accolades too.”

The Alfred Street development, with views over Sydney Harbour and Lavender Bay, is a short walk to the nearby Milsons Point train station.
