Just $500 stands between Australia's two cheapest capital cities when it comes to apartment prices.

Adelaide sits as having a $338,000 median apartment price. It is $337,500 in Hobart.

There is a $30,000 gap when it comes to the difference in median prices for houses between Hobart and Adelaide, according to CoreLogic.

Sydney sits as the priciest capital city.

In Adelaide, 108/271-281 Gouger Street (pictured above) has been listed with a $338,000 to $348,000 price guidance.

In Hobart, 61/57 Cadbury Road, Claremont (pictured below) has been listed with a $340,000 price guidance. It is a retirement village option.
