The breakfast radio presenter Rove McManus and his wife, actor Tasma Walton, have found their eastern suburbs coastal property.

They've splashed out on a five bedroom Bronte beach house with beach and ocean views.

It is all quite hush hush, being sold pre-auction, but on settlement, it's likely to show the purchase price as $6,415,250. It last sold for $2 million in 2000.

They been thought to have bought in Coogee, but instead secured an 1920's architect redesigned beach house on a very private 740 sqm.

The five bedroom house comes with a custom-fitted home office and library.

There a temperature controlled wine cellar and a self-contained studio.

All quite LA, where they have kept a house.

The three time Gold Logie award winning TV presenter and radio star was seeking a shorter commute time to his 2Day FM studio in the city.

The couple sold in Avalon in June for around $3 million.

They owned the home, with district views, since 2011 when he bought it for $2.57 million.

The couple returned from the United States last year where he hosted a new game show Lie Detectors, in which audience members decide which of the three comedians is telling the truth.

He also hosted a segment called "Rove Across America" on The Tonight Show.
