$3 million plus hopes for St Andrews beach home

A St Andrews Beach, Victoria home has been listed with $3 million plus hopes through Michael Kivlighon at RT Edgar.

The 3-5 Moana Court home had been a beach shack in the 1970s when builder Damian Thomas bought the place.

Three years ago, Damian and wife Dianne replaced the shack with the modern homedesigned by Architecture Work's John Lochhead.

With five bedrooms, two bathrooms, the Mornington Peninsula house offers ocean views through floor to ceiling windows.

The island bench in the kitchen is built from wood reclaimed from the Mornington Pier.

The median price for a home in St Andrews Beach is $517,500, according to CoreLogic RP Data.
