Degroup Property Development was founded by Colin DeLutis in 1973 and has been operating as a diversified property group for over 45 years. DeGroup features two divisions; the property and development division, which manages and develops residential, retail, and commercial properties, and the group of companies that comprises several operational businesses.
As a family-run business, Degroup is a private developer and investor with 28 current investments across five specialist industries. They are currently developing a 20-level high-rise on 263-267 William Street in Melbourne and the three-level development at 2-20 Kerr Street in Fitzroy.
Another active Degroup development sits on Lygon Place, Brunswick East, a mid-rise building designed by Peddle Thorp Architects with 96 residences across eight floors. Lygon Place features a resident’s only garden retreat which provides alfresco dining and entertaining areas that overlook Lygon Street with one and two-bedroom apartments on offer.
